Terms of use

Stwong is published by Quantum Leap Technologies (Pty) Ltd, South Africa (“we”). Your use of the app is covered by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms add the points that matter for Stwong. If the two differ, these terms apply to the extent the law allows.

A training companion, not medical advice

Stwong suggests training, recovery and eating habits. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, and it is not a treatment for eating disorders. Talk to a doctor before starting a new exercise programme if you have a health condition, are pregnant, or are unsure. Stop and get help for chest pain, fainting, a fever or anything that feels wrong. In an emergency, call your local emergency number. Stwong is for adults 18 and over.

The AI coach

Coach replies, meal estimates and plan suggestions are written by software and can be wrong. Check anything that matters to you, and decide for yourself what to do: changes to your plan are only made when you accept them. Don't rely on the coach in an emergency.

Subscriptions

• Paid plans are sold and billed by Apple through your Apple Account, monthly or yearly.
• A subscription renews automatically unless you turn it off at least 24 hours before the end of the period. Manage or cancel it in the Settings app under your name, then Subscriptions.
• If a plan comes with a free trial, the subscription starts when the trial ends unless you cancel first.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
• Each plan includes a monthly coach allowance with fair-use limits. When it runs low, replies get shorter; when it runs out, the coach answers safety questions only until the next month or until you add extra messages. Extra message packs don't expire.
• If you cancel, your plan, logs and coach stay with you on the free version.

Your data and your account

Your logs, photos and messages are yours. You let us process them only to run Stwong, as described in our privacy policy. You can export everything or delete your account at any time in the app.

Fair use

Don't use Stwong to break the law, to harm others, to get around its limits or security, or to send the coach content meant to misuse it. We may limit or end access for misuse.

Liability

We work to keep Stwong accurate and available, but it is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for injury from training you chose to do. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act or other laws that can't be excluded.

Changes and law

We'll show a notice in the app when these terms change in a way that matters. These terms are governed by the law of South Africa, without taking away protections your own country's law gives you. Questions: support@qltech.co.za.
